Share your heart and help beat breast cancer
Don’t wait to tell that special someone you care
Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day, Monday 22 October 2012, provides you with the perfect opportunity to do your part in the fight against breast cancer at the same time as telling someone you care. Instead of ‘like’ why not show a bit of ‘love’ by using the Pink Ribbon Day Facebook App to heart someone today. Visit http://www.pinkribbonday.com.au/facebook/iheart/
Whether it is someone who has been affected by breast cancer or someone you simply haven’t told in a while, for the month of October, Cancer Council is encouraging all Australians to share their heart on Facebook and tell someone close to them why they are so special.
Each recipient will have the chance to win to win a $50 MYER voucher, with winners announced daily from October 1 – October 24.
With 37 Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer each day, most of us have been touched by breast cancer in one way or another. It could be your mother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece or friend. By sharing your heart this Pink Ribbon Day you are showing your care and support for all Australian’s affected by breast cancer.
So don’t wait to tell that special someone that you care. Go to http://www.pinkribbonday.com.au/facebook/iheart/ and share your heart now!
This year, Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day aims to raise over $5 million. Funds raised from Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day go to prevention programs, support services and world-class breast cancer research. For more information or to donate visit www.pinkribbonday.com.au
