2011 Draft Model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and model Codes of Practice
This submission highlights the importance of controlling exposure to occupational carcinogens in the workplace, which at present is undertaken in a limited, inconsistent and fragmented approach by various jurisdictions around Australia.
Cancer Council Australia views the current review of WHS regulations by Safe Work Australia as presenting an excellent opportunity to provide all Australian workers with the highest workplace exposure standards based upon the best international evidence.
