Director Engagement & Marketing

Cancer Council Tasmania (CCT) is currently seeking a senior marketing and/or fundraising executive to join its dedicated leadership team. Working from our Hobart offices (Launceston an alternative option), the incumbent will have the opportunity to work within a supportive leadership team whilst contributing to the success of this well known, not-for-profit organisation.  

About the Role: 

Having overall responsibility for the delivery of the Engagement & Fundraising (E&F) program, the Director E&F will have the opportunity to grow our valuable brand and revenue capacity through the delivery of our engagement, marketing, digital and fundraising strategies. With leadership of a small state-wide team, this role includes oversight of the development and implementation of the E&F plans and budgets, provision of marketing advice and counsel to the organisation and the development of innovative fundraising initiatives to secure new income streams and sponsorship for CCT into the future. 

This is a senior leadership role ideally suiting someone with strong business acumen, marketing and fundraising experience, along with the required skills and knowledge of strategic project planning and achieving project deliverables. You will ideally have relevant qualifications and solid leadership experience gained within a a community services & development environment. Demonstrated experience developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders will also be required to be successful in this role.
