Accreditation
A Cancer Council Australia working party, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, has investigated the accreditation of cancer services in Australia.
The group has produced a scoping report A Core Strategy for Cancer Care: Accreditation of Cancer Services ? A Discussion Paper that:
- critically examines international and Australian cancer service accreditation systems and standards
- identifies the principles, criteria and common themes that could be applied in the Australian context.
