About the event

Cancer Council Australia has re-joined forces with recording artist, X Factor judge and philanthropist, Ronan Keating to stage the Emeralds and Ivy Ball. Determined to make an impact on cancer prevention in Australia, Ronan has teamed up with us to bring the glamorous event for the second year to Sydney on September 27th.

The black tie gala event will be hosted by Ronan Keating with a guest list that boasts a host of actors and entertainers as well as fans and supporters of Cancer Council Australia. Guests will enjoy a spectacular three-course dinner at the stunning Dolton House at Jones Bay Wharf and will be entertained by some of the hottest acts in town - including Ronan!

Funds raised through ticket sales and auction items on the night will go to the Cancer Council’s Ronan Keating Fellowship.

Entertainment

Ronan will perform songs from his latest album as well as his greatest hits and will be joined by a raft of celebrities on stage.

History of the event in the UK

Ronan Keating has staged the Emeralds and Ivy Ball in London for 6 years running in collaboration with Cancer Research UK. The event in the UK in 2011 raised over £800,000 and previous guests include Rod Stewart, Leona Lewis, Jon Bon Jovi, Jenny Frost and Sir Steve Redgrave.

About Cancer Council’s Ronan Keating Fellowship

Funds raised will go to Cancer Council’s Ronan Keating Fellowship aimed at addressing current gaps in cancer control activity.
