On average, over nine Tasmanians are diagnosed with cancer each day - making our work in Tasmania vital to the health of the community.
Cancer Council Tasmania is a charity working to minimise the incidence and impact of cancer on all Tasmanians through advocacy, raising awareness of cancer prevention and offering support and information for anyone affected by the disease.
Our work could not be achieved without the generosity of the Tasmanian community and the support of our dedicated volunteers. Our fundraising activities underpin our support services, prevention programs and cancer research funding.

Find Cancer Early Tasmania – Cancer Prevention Campaign
Find Cancer Early Tasmania is a cancer prevention campaign, which aims to raise symptom awareness about some of the most common cancers affecting Tasmanians. Cancer survival outcomes for people living in regional Australia are, on average, 20-30 percent worse than Australians living in metropolitan areas. Take the time to learn about the early symptoms of common cancers. It might just save your life.
