Primary school resource
SunSmart interactive whiteboard lessons
Cancer Council SunSmart, in collaboration with ELECTROBOARD, has developed a range of free interactive whiteboard lessons using SMART Notebook software. Lessons are suitable for Foundation to Year 6 (primary years) and include interactive tasks, quizzes, games and videos about UV, the sun, skin, sun protection and vitamin D.
The 19 lessons can be used nationally and are linked to the Australian curriculum.

Generation SunSmart

Make your very own SunSmart poster with you as the SunSmart star! It's free - all you need is a printer and an image of your face to upload. There are sun protection, vitamin D and snow posters to choose from at the SunSmart poster website.

SunSmart UV Index
Even when it's cool or overcast, the sun’s UV can still be damaging. Our free SunSmart UV Index app for smart phones indicates daily local sun protection times, weather and temperature. It also features a sun protection reminder, sunscreen calculator and vitamin D tool.
Your website administrator can add the free SunSmart UV Index widget to your website by following the instructions from here or you can just add SunSmart to your web favourites.
