Have you got a bowel cancer screening question? Or simply want to find out more about how you do it and what’s involved? If so, our community events will be perfect for you.
We’re taking the bowel cancer screening conversation out of the bathroom and into your local community.
Join us at our community events - designed to make bowel screening simple, easy to talk about… and even a little bit fun. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee or heading to the footy, come along and discover how a piece of mail could save your life.
Prizes and free merch will be available at all events.
Get confident with bowel cancer screening at ‘The Loo Post’
Bowel cancer is Australia’s second biggest killer, but it’s also one of the most treatable cancers if found early. However, currently, only 41.7% of Australians do their bowel screening test.
The Loo Post is a walk-through experience that takes you through the steps: from your screening kit so you can head home feeling confident that you can do your test the moment it arrives at your doorstep.
Grab a cuppa at the 'Catch It Early Cafe'
We’ve partnered with local cafes to host the Catch It Early Café. We will be offering free coffee in a relaxed setting and chatting about screening for bowel cancer, so you can ask questions over your favourite brew.
The Catch It Early Café reminds people aged 45 to 74 that regular bowel cancer screening could save your life.
Screening every two years can help find bowel cancer early when 90% of cases can be successfully treated.
So, drop by for a cuppa and a chat, then carry on with your day more informed and with all the reassurance you need to register for a kit or to do your test at home.
‘Catch it Early’ is partnering with Penrith Panthers and Supercars
We’re teaming up with Penrith Panthers at their home stadium in July and August, with one goal… to remind fans that just one piece of mail could save your life.
This year our roadshow will also hit some of the Repco Supercars events Come find us outside the stadium and at the track!
Swing by to spin the wheel and score exclusive prizes, learn a bit about bowel cancer screening, and then enjoy the game or race, knowing that when your kit arrives, you’ll be ready to do it.
