You may not think you need to take the Cervical Screening Test for a number of reasons. For example, you have had the HPV vaccine, underwent a hysterectomy or are over a certain age. Or you may think it unsafe if you are pregnant.

Anyone with a cervix should start cervical cancer screening at age 25. It is highly recommended that you have a Cervical Screening Test every five years, even if you have had the HPV vaccination.
