Time to get running!

The Women’s 5K Walk/Run is one of the most important community awareness events Cancer Council Tasmania’s calendar.

Although the name of the event is the Women’s 5K Walk-Run, the event is totally inclusive and we welcome those who run for the women in their lives.

This year the 2021 event will be both real-time and “virtual” - you can run or walk wherever you like - on the beach, in your backyard or your local running track. We are encouraging people to get their family and friends involved.

Cancer Council is thrilled to have Harcourts Launceston back as the event’s principal sponsor. The City of Launceston, EL Conveyancing, Intersport, MyGym, and Cityprom are also providing sponsorship.

All funds raised stay in Tasmania to provide prevention, support and research programs for people living with cancer and their families.
