What we do
Cancer never rests, and for that reason, neither do we. And tomorrow, with your help, we'll start again. Find out how we're here for all Australians affected by cancer.
We offer a range of services to support anyone affected by cancer. In 2017 we helped thousands of Australians get the support they need answering over 41,000 calls through our 13 11 20 information and support line. Find out more about the impact our support services are making here. |
We fund more cancer research than any other non-government organisation in Australia. In 2017, thanks to the support of our community, we directed almost $60 million along with our research partners in cancer across Australia. Find out more about how Cancer Council invests in research into every stage of the cancer journey, and meet the brilliant researchers working towards the next cancer breakthrough here. |
We know that preventing cancer is one of the most effective ways of creating a cancer free future. We develop programs that encourage and empower people to lead healthier lifestyles to help reduce their cancer risk. Find out more about the impact our prevention programs are making here. |
We work with the community to change laws and policies to reduce cancer risks and improve cancer care. |
