Joseph joined CCNT in November 2020. He has 17 years nursing experience with the majority of that spent in oncology nursing.
Joseph is a highly experienced oncology nurse having achieved his Diploma in Adult Nursing in London, United Kingdom (2004); his BSc in Cancer and Palliative Care at Oxford Brookes University – Oxford, United Kingdom (2013) and his Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences at Otago University New Zealand (2018).
He has worked in different cancer care settings in both England and New Zealand and has a passion for cancer awareness, early detection, hard to reach groups and treatment equity.
Joseph’s experience includes Day Unit Charge – Mercy Hospital NZ, Clinical Nurse Specialist – Medical Oncology Timaru Hospital NZ, Cancer Information Support Specialist – Macmillan Cancer Support England & Wales and Oncology ward staff nurse at Oxford University NHS Hospitals England. J
Joseph is skilled in cancer treatment modalities, strong community engagement and program implementation. He has a demonstrated history of working in the private and public health sector driving forward quality and best practice. Outside work, Joseph is an avid runner and enjoys community events.
