About the role
Cancer Council Australia is seeking a Senior Engagement Officer to join our Program Management Office. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of the Navigation Program, a nationally significant initiative supported by the Australian Government.
You will be responsible for developing and executing stakeholder communication strategies and materials, helping ensure high impact, cohesive, and consistent engagement across a complex network of internal and external stakeholders.
About you
You’re an experienced communicator with a knack for engaging diverse audiences. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about contributing to a cause. You bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High-level organisational and project coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
- Proven experience in stakeholder communications or engagement, ideally in a federated model
- Strong relationship building abilities across varied sectors, including government and community
- Experience in health care or cancer-related programs, or a background in communications will be highly regarded.
